Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University proudly hosted The Grand Cultural Fest 2025 on 6th December 2025, transforming the campus into a vibrant celebration of art, tradition, and global unity. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests for a memorable evening filled with cultural richness and creative expression. This year, the university had the honor of welcoming Dr. Sashwata Ray, a renowned ophthalmologist, as the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Ray applauded the university for nurturing cultural diversity and encouraged students to continue embracing artistic activities as a vital part of holistic education. The festival featured an exciting blend of performances representing India, Armenia, Iran, and Russia. Students showcased traditional dances, musical presentations, fashion segments, and dramatic acts that beautifully highlighted the unique heritage of each nation. The colorful Indian folk dances, soulful Armenian melodies, expressive Iranian performances, and dynamic Russian showcases captivated the audience throughout the evening. FMGE Masterclass on Pathology at MGARIU
On the 6th of May, 2025, the students of Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University (MGARIU) had an incredible learning experience during a special masterclass on Pathology. The session was organised in collaboration with the renowned Arise Academy, bringing valuable insights and practical knowledge to FMGE aspirants. The masterclass was led by the esteemed Dr Sara Khader, a highly experienced professional in the field of Pathology. Dr Khader, known for her vast academic knowledge and practical expertise, shared invaluable tips and guidance to help students excel in the FMGE. Her engaging teaching style and practical approach made the complex concepts of Pathology easier to grasp. Seminar for Lecturers by Quality Assurance Center of MGARIU
We, at Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University, believe that education and learning is a non-stop process and it must go on. To adhere to our principles and values, the Quality Assurance Center of MGMGARIU conducted a seminar for lecturers. The topic of the seminar was “How to improve professional education programmes?”. All the lecturers at MGARIU took part in the seminar and gained valuable insights from the speaker. The provisions of the rating assessment of the activities of the faculty and funding of scientific projects through internal grants were also presented. Such activities and seminars are important to ensure that the students get nothing short of world class education at the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian University.

Expert lecture on Current Issues in Oncology
On March 14th, 2025, students of the United Faculty in Yerevan attended a lecture on current issues in oncology, delivered by Irina Vladimirovna Evstigneeva, Deputy Chief of the V.P. Avaev Medical Center in Tver, Russia, and an experienced oncologist. The lecture was also attended by prominent university staff, including Alexander Gennadievich Ivanov, Rector of the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University; Yana Nikolaevna Troynich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Lilit Genrikhovna Potikyan, Head of the Educational Department; Ruzanna Sergeevna Akhayan, Methodologist of the Educational Department; and Naira Ashotovna Kazaryan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. During the session, Irina Vladimirovna discussed the prevalence and structure of oncological diseases in Russia, Armenia, and globally. She highlighted the importance of early cancer diagnosis and the critical role doctors play in preventing the disease. Emphasizing the value of screening and timely consultations with oncologists, she explained that these are vital for the early detection of cancer. The lecture also included a demonstration of clinical cases from Irina Vladimirovna’s practical work, providing valuable real-life insights. The students and university staff actively engaged with the lecture, posing questions and receiving informative and thoughtful responses.

MGARIU participates in Festival of Indian Films
The Embassy of India in Armenia organized the highly anticipated Festival of Indian Films at the Moscow Cinema, in Yerevan from the 28th-30th March, 2025. Students of the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University were proud to be a part of this wonderful event. The festival was a great success and the Indian ambassador to Armenia, Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha graced the occasion with her august presence as the chief guest of the event. Students enjoyed the event as the festival was dedicated to one of the most famous bollywood actors, Mithun Chakraborthy. It was a three day festival and each day witnessed the screening of blockbuster films given by Mithun Da. The schedule of the event was as follows: DISCO DANCER – 28 March DANCE DANCE – 29 March PYAR JHUKTA NAHIN – 30 March Students of MGARIU and other members of the audience really enjoyed the event and students from the Indian community definitely felt nostalgic.

Celebrating Open Door Day at MGARIU
The Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University celebrated the open door day on 11 April, 2025 and students from high school 97 and from Yerevan State Basic Medical College were given access to the university premises. The students were excited and thrilled to see the magnificent medical infrastructure at our campus and we made sure that students got all necessary information and knowledge about the tools and medical equipment. The students had a great time as we took them deeper into the details of future medical prospects and the MBBS programme at MGARIU. The event was a great success and it was made successful by the efforts of our lecturers and senior students.

The Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University participated in the Education and Career Expo 2025 organized at the Karen Demirchyan Complex Yerevan on the 16th - 18th April, 2025. This was the 24th edition of International Specialized Exhibition of Education and MGMGMGARIU is proud to be a part of the previous and current edition of the Education and Career Expo. Participants of the exhibition were mostly educational institutes (High School, colleges, educational centers) and the international medical organizations of Armenia and abroad. The exhibition was conducted with official support from the Ministry of Education of Armenia. The students were given proper information about future career opportunities in the field of medicine and were also briefed about the facilities provided at the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian Russian International University.

FMGE Master Class for Indian Medicos
We at ARIU, take care of our students and make sure they get every possible assistance in becoming great doctors. Any student who pursues MBBS Abroad and wishes to practice medicine in India needs to undergo the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). The exam is like a gateway to practicing medicine in India. To ensure a successful future for our students, ARIU curated a special masterclass for all students who had applied for FMGE 2024. This masterclass was taken by: The masterclass was taken by: Dr. Khaleel for Radiology, Dr. Azam for Anatomy, Dr. Nadeem for Forensic Medicine and Psychiatry, Dr. Priyansh Jain for Medicine and Biochemistry Students showed excellent results in FMGE 2024 under the able guidance of ARIU’s experienced faculties. More than 100 students attended the class and were highly satisfied with the results. Special attention and guidance is very crucial while preparing for an entrance exam and therefore, we at ARIU, make sure no stone is unturned to help the students fulfil their dreams.

The event also served as a tribute to Mr. Hayk Mkrtich Derdzyan (1945-2020), the visionary behind the establishment of Mkhitar Gosh Russian American International University.
